Hurricane Helene is already being called the deadliest hurricane to hit the continental US since Katrina in 2005. People are being affected in not only North Carolina, but also South Carolina and Georgia.
In scary times, it is normal to feel angry, frustrated, and helpless. If you are called to help, here are some links to donate money to the rescue efforts:
Asheville, North Carolina has a special piece of our hearts here at Minerals & Mystics. I've been traveling to Asheville and surrounding areas for over 10 years for Gem Shows. We have quite a few vendors who live in or around Asheville that are "mom and pop" style wholesalers- people we know personally who handcraft a lot of the jewelry, stones and unique collector items that we carry here in-store. We will do what we can to support these people and their communities the best we can. If you feel called and are able to donate as well, that would be wonderful. If not, please raise all those affected by this hurricane and other terrible tragedies going on in our world community in your prayers, place them on your altars or send them all the love and light you have to spare at this time.
